Reset password. It was very well presented, and whilst you first think it will never fill you up, it always does and we didn't really need desert!
The view is fantastic and the hygiene due to the virus was adhered to effectively. The choice of a set menu is great and well worth the cost. My wife and I were celebrating our 60th Wedding anniversary.
My principal concern was that are no disabled rest room facilities on the 17th floor and even though it is promoted as having wheel chair access I had to go down to ground floor level to find a disabled restroom.
Was a lovely experience looking out across the views. Value for money with the set menu. We were going to have our choices anyway.
Not only the view is outstanding but the overall quality and the presentation of the dishes are amazing. Overall it was a nice experience.
The service and ambiance were very good. I am Not sure if we would return. Felt so disappointed in my steak, which should have been a special treat at that price.
We enjoyed our wedding anniversary dinner at the Point revolving restaurant and we were blown away with the service and the food was delicious, highly recommend.
A special spot in Hobart to take in the sights while enjoying great food, drinks and service. This was delicious. All cooked to perfection.
Dessert was a little under par, the French pastry dessert was lacking in taste and texture and overall a disappointment, but the crepe suzettes and poached pear was good.

The Point Named Best Restaurant Read more. Definitely the best meal we had on our holiday in Tasmania.
Beautiful place to celebrate your special occasion. I expected better quality food for the price. It is very expensive compared to other upper class restaurants.
However the service was fantastic - we had a great time. We have been to the Revolving Restaurant several times and it is consistently good.
The food is French, obviously, and there was a good choice. It was very well presented, and whilst you first think it will never fill you up, it always does and we didn't really need desert!

Good Ambience, view, service and food. Drink are great, hats off to Bartender. The atmosphere and service was only surpassed by the food. A truly exceptional dining experience from being greeted to the chocolates at the end of the meal, highly recommended.
My last meal at Wrest Point was over 25 years ago. The service was superb and the meal magnificent. My husband and I enjoyed a memorable wedding anniversary celebration at the Point and very much appreciated the attentive service and wonderful food.
Amazing experience, atmosphere, service and food! We will be back! The staff were excellent, the view spectacular, lovely ambiance and a relaxed evening.
The wine was too expensive for what the wine was With all the wonderful Sparkling wine in Tasmania the 2 sparkiling wines offered by the glass were very disappointing.
Sadly we had wine that was so bitter and blatantly over priced but we were made to look like we new little about it. Al up a disappointment as we are regulars.
Quality, beautifully presented meals. Excellent service as always. Could not fault the meal we had here.
The service was impeccable, the food was exceptional, the wine list was excellent. Definitely the best meal we had on our holiday in Tasmania.
Prices are The service was excellent - attentive, polite, pleasant - as always. The views are excellent, despite the rain and clouds.
We were disappointed to be seated right next to another table of two diners - who were loud and even made a phone call during Initially we were the only two tables of diners - I suspect diners are placed next to each other for ease of serving by staff, but when a place is half empty it would be great to have a buffer of space between diners.
Much better for the diners, and the diners surely are the most important people in a restaurant. For the first time ever in my experience the meals were disappointing.
We were there for lunch with some friends, and our first surprise was that it was a fixed menu. There were plenty of choices but I had not realised the menu was not a la carte.
I have a small appetite and could not do justice to two courses, let alone three, so much of my food was wasted - the servings were always generous.
The amuse-bouche was excellent - a great start. Entrees of quail, sashimi and goat's feta were all very good. For mains, apparently the duck that two of our party had was very good.
The disappointment was with the fish dish, blue eye trevalla. My experience with blue eye has always been excellent, but I found this dish close to inedible.
The assortment of flavours seemed disjointed and at odds with each other. Some flavour was tainting the fish, so instead of a delicate fish flesh we were confronted with a strange-tasting fish.
Had this been my first ever experience with blue eye I would never eat it again! Desserts chocolate tart, pavlova, cheese were mostly fully devoured, however I found the chocolate tart leaning too much to non-sweet.
The tart itself and the ice cream were tasty, but the coffee gel and two varieties of soil were bitter and not pleasant to my palate.
I was sorry that the meals for two of our group of four were less than satisfactory, especially given that I had recommended this restaurant as somewhere very special.
We might be back some day, but in future I think I'd prefer to stick to evening dining with the a la carte menu and not the fixed 2 or 3 course lunch menu.
